Pharmacy services in Maryport questioned in Commons

Issues with the service levels of pharmacies across north Cumbria were raised by Markus Campbell-Savours MP on Tuesday.

Long queues, poorly advertised opening times, low stocks, and long delays in ordering vital medication were highlighted by Markus Campbell-Savours, MP for Penrith and Solway as among the problems experienced by local residents, particularly in Maryport.

Markus questioned Stephen Kinnock, a government health minister, to explain the situation on the floor of the House of Commons.
